Sugar & Spice Alpaca Farm is located in the beautiful town of Maple Valley, WA, nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, a 45 minute drive southeast of Seattle.  Our farm name was suggested by our daughter and it just seemed to fit since our children are the "Sugar" and "Spice" of our lives!  Our venture into the wonderful world of alpacas stemmed from a desire to raise a livestock species that is earth-friendly, financially viable on small acreage and produces a useful, high-end product

We offer a variety of services to current alpaca owners and those interested in finding out more about these wonderful animals. We raise huacaya alpacas for the fleece and offer a variety of handmade fiber products. We have expanded our fiber arts offerings to include custom needle felted critters and unique felted handbags and scarves.

We welcome visitors to our farm anytime of the year...

We hope to see you here!

SANDS Za Atar Spice at just 2 days old! Wow what a cutie then and at 7 months exhibited all of the improvements in fleece characteristics we were expecting, not to mention his very nice laid-back personality!

Za Atar will be booking breedings for the spring of 2010. See our Herdsire page for updated photos and details.
